HRko 2025: When a conference turns into a festival

On October 16, the Gong Hall in Ostrava’s Dolní Vítkovice turned into the epicenter of Czech HR. More than a thousand people, HR professionals, managers and everyone passionate about modern approaches to people and company culture, gathered for the HRko …

This year, HRko really outdid itself. The program was packed from morning till night – inspiring talks, hands-on workshops, panel discussions, and even live music. The fun actually started the day before – at the before party, where Slza performed, and the festival itself (yes, we can definitely call it that this year) kicked off with Majk Spirit. The mix of HR inspiration, music, and a relaxed vibe created an amazing energy that lasted the entire day.

OKbase at HRko

Of course, we at OKbase couldn’t miss it. In our dedicated OKbase room, four presentations took place. The Festival OKbase stage program was hosted by our product expert Vojta Klimeš. His talk on HR digitalization was insightful and full of practical tips, so it’s no surprise he immediately won over the audience. As Vojta himself says: “Digitalization should free people from routine work so they have more time to focus on employees.”

Other speakers dove into HR trends, process management, and company culture. HRko isn’t just about theory – it also featured real-life case studies and a few “aha” moments that everyone took home.

And when participants weren’t attending talks, they were meeting colleagues from all over the country, sharing experiences, and perhaps realizing over a coffee in our OKbase room that networking is, in a way, its own form of HR therapy.
